Villa Trigona is located in the heart of Sicily, in the green countryside that they embrace the town of Piazza Armerina (EN), an ancient town on the Erei mountains of medieval origin, with a baroque and norman historical center.
City of art, it attracts a considerable tourist flow for its important heritage archaeological, historical, artistic and natural.In 1997 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List for the mosaics of the Villa Romana del Casale
LA VILLA
The villa is an ancient and elegant summer residence of the noble Trigona family, to whom is still belongs, carefully recovered and restored.
The farmhouse consists of two main bodies positioned in an “L” shape developed on two floors. “Explosed Brick” and finishes embellish this country residence
In the main beam a lovely patio has been created, overlooking the park of the villa, also used for romantic dinners and suggestive breakfasts. On the wall opposite the entrance to the baglio, the eagle with the blue shield and the crown stands out on the clear and ancient stone of the main facade: the emblem of the Trigona family .

2 SUITES and 13 ROOMS
Sober and elegant, equipped with every comfort, all with private bathrooms and furnished with charm mostly using the original furnishings of the villa, built at the end of 1700.
Two rooms on the ground floor, with private bathroom and direct view on the large terrace, are designed to welcome disabled guest with every comfort.
At your disposal on the first floor you will find a reading lounge, with a beautiful fireplace while on the ground floor you can take advantage of the bar service and entertainment rooms where you can listen to music, watch television or participate in board games for young and old, surrounded by old paintings and objects that tell the story of the family.

The park of the Villa will amaze you with the harmony of colors, tree variety, flowers and scents that surround those who allow themselves the pleasure of walking through the centuries-old boxwood avenues of the avenue of figs, reconstituted as it was originally, to discover between a small expanse and the other, the most suggestive and authentic corners og the Sicilian countryside, enjoying the shade of the pine forest or the beauty and quiet of the the oak.

La villa è dotata di una piscina con solarium situata in posizione dominante sulla campagna cosi da godere di una vista panoramica mentre in totale relax vi lascerete trasportare dal silenzio e dai profumi di un avvolgente giardino sensoriale mediterraneo.
La nostra piscina è dotata di una zona idromassaggio dove concedervi un piacevole momento di benessere.

Villa trigona offers a restaurant service reserved exclusively for the guests staying. Our dishes arethe result of ancient knowledge handed down from one generation to another. the ancient family recipes, are still prepared according to the Sicilian tradition, using the highest quality raw materials and zero km products also coming from our organic garden and our orchard. And on our table is never an adequate selection of quality Sicilian wines.
